Colder longer nights are drawing in and it is the time to cosy up with a book in front of a fire! Storing books can often be an issue, especially if they are exposed to dust and not used everyday. One of the most magnificent of them has to be our grand Antique Victorian Oak Bookcase which stands at 8.2ft high. There is plenty of storage for your books and object of Art, behind three astral glazed, bevelled glass doors which have original locks and keys to ensure your precious books and items are kept safe and secure behind locked doors.

The structure of this Victorian Oak Bookcase is very unique in appearance. The bookcase features shaped cornice over the glass doors of the bookcase, as well as the angular finials which mirror the arched panelled doors. This antique oak bookcase features ebonised carving and dentil banding which makes this particular Victorian bookcase stand out.

There is plenty of storage in this Antique Victorian Oak Bookcase, as there are three large Victoria Oak cupboards underneath the bevelled glass doors, which house the bookshelves. Ideal for storing glassware and dinner sets for entertaining in the winter months. This stunning Georgian chest on chest has just been put into stock with our other large selection of antique chest of drawers.
it has a moulded cavetto cornice above 2 short and 6 long graduated drawers which are constructed from oak, original brass fittings and stands on its original bracket feet.
the drawers fronts are of a wonderful figured mahogany making this a very attractive piece.

If you are looking for antique chest of drawers we have lots in stock varying in age from Mid Georgian to Late Victorian all restored and ready to use.

This week we have put into stock a fantastic example of a antique military chest which has brass bound edges and inset handles, this splits into 2 sections which made it more maneuverable when use by the military around the period 1870

This is an unusual one because it has a secretaire section which encloses a leather inset writing suface and small fitted drawers.
