Arts and Crafts was an international design movement that flourished between 1860 and 1910, especially in the second half of that period. It stood for traditional craftsmanship using simple forms and often applied medieval, romantic or folk styles of decoration, showing joints and construction. This late Victorian hall stand is a fine example of the furniture of this period. Simply constructed using only traditional methods instead machines and high quality oak with attractive rays- grain make this arts and crafts hall stand fine and elegant furniture which suits and hall way.
